A Experienced Database WiFi engineer will attend your premises and carry out a WiFi survey and analysis of your current network.This will highlight any sources of interference and identify any obstacles which could restrict your WiFi coverage.The Survey looks at all aspects of the building and includes a full analysis to highlight any other devices that work on similar frequencies. The engineer will also test the current type of incoming internet connection as this can be a major fracture in the speed performance of your wireless network. Once the survey is completed our in house technical team will compile a report based on their findings which will detail how and where we position the WiFi access points through out your premises to give you the strongest coverage throughout. As our site surveys consider everything from your premises size, network capacity, construction and types of device connecting to the network. Whether it be high network congestion, building material or local interference which could affect signal levels our technical team will take this into account when designing or fault-finding the network.

Once you are happy with the design of your new wireless network are sales team can then discuss the best equipment type to be implemented into your design. After sales  Support – As with all of our  services we will ensure that your new installation is fully optimised and correctly configured to work effortlessly. WI-FI Survey

Database Communications offer three types of WiFi surveys – Passive WiFi survey, a Predicted-deployment WiFi survey or a Active or fault-finding WiFi survey. Each type of survey differs according to the site or your specific requirements.

Active WiFi Survey

The Active survey or fault finding survey is used on sites where a wireless network has already been installed ( by others ). This type of quality-checking survey is usually required when the client has noticed specific issues on site such as Chanel interference, slow speeds or limited coverage.It Can also help you to monitor potential security breaches were hackers will try to gain access to your system Our Experienced engineers will visit site and carry out a similar survey to the passive.We will be able to determine from the report why your network is not functioning correctly and give you the necessary steps to get it back to its maximum performance. It is recommended that you have this type of survey regularly to prevent security breaches and to prevent any long term issues with your wireless network

Wi-FI Consultancy

If You have the infrastructure in place for your wireless network and already have the active equipment to build your network we are happy to provide an Advice only service to help you build your new network.

Our Experienced & knowledgeable team of engineers will carry out a non intrusive site survey of your premises and your current active equipment .

They will then issue a detailed report giving you advice on how to carry out this even down to where to place your access points for maximum performance.
